7 Yoga poses to tap the power of your Yogic Chakras

A Balanced Body and mindset is the key to a balanced life; and within a healthy body, there are the meeting points of the energy pathways known as Chakras. By creating a balance between Chakras, one can make their life easier. We had in an earlier blog talked about the concept of energy healing whereby we had talked about chakra balancing. (Clonazepam) This blog, however, talks about the 7 chakras in detail and how could one tap their power to the maximum using Yoga asanas. So, here we go!

Muladhara Chakra 

Muladhara Chakra or Root Chakra is the energetic connection of your body and attaches your spirit to the planet. When this Chakra is functioning properly, you feel connected to the planet, which provides you with limitless energy. So try to calm your body and experience the earth’s calming magnetic force.

Asana: Mountain Pose

Connect all four corners of your feet to the ground while standing straight. Let your palms face forward and your forehead or shoulders to soften. Stand tall while elongating your spine.

Svadhisthana Chakra

Svadhisthana Chakra or Sacral Chakra improves your positive energy and innate sexual energy. When it will function optimally in your body, you will feel creative energy and feel connected towards yourself and your partner.

Asana: Seated Bound Angle Pose

Step your legs at a distance, while turning them out at 45 degrees. Try to bend your knees and make sure about the same distance of toes. Softly engage your lower abdomen and try to do the same pose with your hand.

Manipura Chakra

Manipura Chakra or Navel Chakra is your power centre and fuels your will to act. It is located below your Sternum and above your navel. When this Chakra will be balanced, it will bring confidence and courage to you. Also, you will feel joyful and empowered.

Asana: Boat Pose

Bend your knees and put your feet on the ground. Lean back and engage your abdomen inward. Straighten up your legs, draw your abdomen in, lift your chest, and draw your shoulder blades together.

Anahata Chakra

Anahata Chakra or Heart Chakra enhance your ability to receive and give love. It focuses on your emotional centre that feels and responds to your every thought. When you can create keep this chakra balanced, you will feel a loved, connection with everyone and thankful and you will be able to surround yourself with love and passion.

Asana: Camel Pose 

Stand on your knees while keeping them hip-width apart. Place your hands on the back of your hips with your fingers while pointing down. Expand your chest while bringing your shoulder blades towards each other. Lengthen up your spine in an upward direction.

Visuddha Chakra

Visuddha Chakra or Throat Chakra is the centre of expression and communication. It helps you to understand the purpose of life and express it. Through it, you share your thoughts and feelings and tell them the truth. You can achieve a balance, you will speak with honesty and wisdom.

Asana: Fish Pose

Lie on the floor and bring your legs together. Try lifting your rib cage and chest and let your head relax backwards. Draw your shoulder blades together and broader up your throat and chest.

Ajna Chakra

Ajna Chakra or Third Eye Chakra controls your insight and intuition. It is the space between your eyebrows. Sometimes you may face a lack of clarity or trust in yourself, which is because of disconnection with your third eye centre.

Asana: Seated Forward Bend

Sit tall with your legs drawn together and feet flexed. Try to Bend towards your legs and hold your feet with your hand. Try to look downwards and bend as much as you can.

Sahasrara Chakra

Sahasrara Chakra or Crown Chakra is the energy centre that helps you to connect with Divine. When it is balanced, you will feel blissful vibes from the world; when imbalanced, you will feel cynical.

Asana: Supported Headstand

Put your forearms to the ground with the help of your elbows while keeping it at the shoulder width. Gently place the crown of your head on the ground and draw your shoulder blades up on your back. Slowly try to bring your feet closer to the body and lift your legs. Try to be as straight as possible.
