Sukhasana – Easy Pose
  1. Sit with legs stretches straight in front of the body.
  2. Bend right knee and place the foot under the left hip.
  3. Bend the left knee and place the foot over the right thigh. Bring your body in cross legged posture.
  4. Spine straight and shoulders relaxed. Chin and neck upright and relaxed.
  5. Place your hands on the knees, arms relaxed.
  6. Hands in chin mudra. Eyes closed and body relaxed.
  7. Stay in the posture as much as you wish to.

Breathing & Benefits:

  1. This is a most comfortable meditation posture. Different types of Pranayam can be done while staying in this posture.
  2. Meditation can also be performed as one can sit in this posture for long period.
  3. Facilitates mental and physical balance.
