There always exists some sort of obscurity regarding the correct time to practice Yoga. However if someone is only perceptive about the physical well-being, sunrise, or sunset time, it can also be considered appropriate to practice this ritual. Noon is not recommended as it is meal time and the body needs a gap of at least 4 to 6 hours after eating to practice yoga.

Various Asanas are advisable to be practised in the morning or evening. It is pertinent to refrain from practising challenging asanas, which energize the body, just before bedtime, as it can be proven to be detrimental.
