Pranic Healing – An Introduction

Pranic healing is an ancient science, the principles that it uses has been in use for as long as mankind has been known. In different languages, it has been given different names that follow the same principle, healing of the energy body.

Grand Master Choa Kok Sui (MCKS), an entrepreneur and chemical engineer, became interested in spiritual healings, by carrying out experimentation and developing step by step approach to healing, he became the founder of Modern Pranic Healing. The energy body is seen as changed and gets better when seen from Kirlian camera, which captures corona discharge by using a high-frequency electric field. Other scientific investigations also give evidence of the same.

As the Master (MCKS) says – “An intelligent person is not closed-minded. He does not behave like an ostrich burying his head in the ground trying to avoid new ideas and development. An intelligent person is not gullible. He does not accept ideas blindly. He studies and digests them thoroughly, then evaluates them against his reason; he tests these new ideas and developments through experiments and his experiences. An intelligent person studies these ideas with a clear objective mind”

It is believed that the human body is composed of ‘visible physical body’ and ‘invisible energy body’, which extends beyond the physical body by four or five inches. As healing is done on the energy body, no touch is required and distance healings are possible.

Pranic Healing makes use of ‘Prana’ or ‘life energy’, that is drawn from the surroundings to cure physical or psychological ailments. According to MCKS, we have 11 major chakras or energy centers, it is these chakras that are responsible for the proper functioning of the whole physical body and ailments are caused by malfunctioning of these chakras.

Proper knowledge about the association of chakras with the corresponding problems/ailment is a must for treating the patient. Pranic healing is based on cleansing and energizing. By cleansing or removing the diseased energy from affected chakras and organs, and energizing them with sufficient prana, healing takes place.

Advanced Pranic healing (also known as the second level) uses color pranas and chakral techniques to produce very rapid healing and cure difficult ailments in few sessions. Pranic psychotherapy (Or third level) is designed to alleviate psychological ailments, such as stress, grief, phobia, and light depression, the healer’s aura should be strong to take these cases.

Pranic healing does not intend to replace allopathic medicine but rather complements it. Medicines along with Pranic healing boosts the rate of recovery. The patient has to be neutral if is not receptive in order to receive pranic energy. Healing when done with love and softness brings about the best results.
