This Yoga trek is designed on one of the most beautiful treks in Himachal, Beas Kund. With the magic of Yoga, you would very well be able absorb the vastness and immenseness nature. This would certainly bring a state of internal relaxation. Beas Kund has its own significance, is one of the most beautiful places in the Dhauladhar range (literally ‘the white range’) of the mighty Himalayas. Besides being regarded as sacred, Beas Kund is where the river Beas originates. It is said that it is this lake where it is believed that Rishi (sage) Vyas, the author of Mahabharata took his daily bath. The term Beas Kund seems to have been derived from Vyas, the sage; and Kund, a lake. We would be covering the trek till bakerthatch would cross/encounter river Beas quite close to its source. Selecting a portion of larger trek makes it easy for people of varied age group and fitness level to be part of the experience. This trek is suitable for people for all age groups, and no prior trekking experience is required to join in.
Solang valley is famous for its ski slopes & Para gliding.
Dhundi is the last village in the Solang valley and this is where Beas River meets its first tributary converging from Beas Kund and Rohtang Pass. The quaint little mountain hamlet that has nothing to offer save scenic beauty and resonating silence, Dhundi is another alpine meadow full of wild flowers. One of the great locations to set up camps for overnight stay
It is at an alleviation altitude of 3270 meters. From Dundhi to Bakar Thach is 5 km trek through a lush trail with great Himalayan peaks like 7 sisters visible on one side. It is a high-altitude meadow and literally means Bakar Thach means ‘shepherd’s field’ a marvellous expanse of greenery all around. These enchanting meadows are very popular pastures and it’s easy to find flocks of sheep grazing peacefully in this pastoral idyll. When sun rays falls on meadows it’s a feast for senses.

I cofounded Hith Yoga to help people struggling with today's lifestyle and lifestyle related issues. Having worked in for companies in Management Consulting, Retail, Oil& Gas sector after graduating from IIT Bombay in 2004+G44, I came across the dire need of individuals to live a happy and healthy life; I found many of my colleagues grappling with serious health issues at a very young age! These issues have continued to grow at an alarming rate but on the contrary many people have still continued to ignore these until they face acute health problems. I work towards bringing in the best solutions to these problems by bringing in experts from field of Yoga and alternate therapies and currently looking after operations and marketing at Hith Yoga. I am Yoga Siromani from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram, Kerala. I am also an NLP Practitioner and a Pranic healer.
Hello, I am Hitanshi one of the yoga therapist supporting Hith Yoga. I got introduced to Yoga to treat my asthama while I was doing my MBA; thereafter I worked for well-known Ad agencies in Mumbai but soon realized that my true calling was Yoga. Having been part of demanding corporate environment, I found yogic practices to be very useful in solving some of the deep rooted stress and lifestyle related problems. Thus, I left the corporate world to bring Yogic practices to people who I feel need assistance. I completed P.G. Diploma in Yoga with Alternate Therapies (Acupressure, Reiki, Naturopathy etc.) from LNUPE, Gwalior and currently pursuing M. Sc. in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA, Bangalore. I am also a follower of Bihar School of Yoga, Munger and Reiki and Pranic healer. My Journey So Far... I have been conducting therapeutic yoga workshops/sessions for corporate houses as well as individuals across India that include stress management, yogic treatment for other occupational disorders like anxiety neurosis, depression, blood pressure problems, cervical and back pain, Yogic practices for health, fitness and wellbeing. My mission is to spread awareness about traditional yogic practices and alternate therapies that ensures unison between body, mind and soul. These practices have helped many followers to live happy and balanced life. Apart from teaching Yogic practices, I work towards increasing receptivity of students which leads to faster and long lasting results.
