CHOPTA Chopta is an unspoiled natural destination lying in the lap of the Uttarakhand Himalayas and offers views of the imposing Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba. Devariyatal Devariyatal is perhaps the only trek that gives maximum returns for the effort put in.
The lake is known for its wide 300° panorama view of snow covered mountains like
Chaukhamba, Nilkantha, Bandarpunch, Kedar Range, Kalanag, etc. can be viewed from here. At
an altitude of about 2438 meters, it has heavily wooded, lush green inclined fields surrounded by
dense trees. Deoria Tal lies in the Kedarnath Musk Deer Sanctuary. If lucky, then one can spot
animals drinking water from the lake early in the morning.
Rohini Bugyal Rohini Bugyal is among the best picturesque sites in Himalyas. It is surrounded by
Rhododendron and plenty of other variety of trees overlooking mysterious peak of Kala Parvat.
During the sunset everything here seems to be painted with heavenly colours. Trek from Devariya
Tal to Rohini Bhugyal is a birders trail having huge numbers of birds to spot. Quietness and Serenity
makes it ideal place to meditate; but just that this 14 kms trek would make you enjoy every bit of
your muscles....ooopsss (we meant ‘every bit of your trek’)
